01Which pujas can I book?

Pandit ji for griha pravesh, vastu shanti and bhoomi pujan; vivah sanskar, sagai and tilak; naamkaran, annaprashan, mundan, janeu and other sanskar; Satyanarayan katha, Sunderkand, Akhand Ramayan and Bhagwat katha; Rudrabhishek and the pujan of every devi and devta; festival pujas from Diwali to Navratri; havan and yagya; Mahamrityunjay, Gayatri and other jaap anushthan; navgrah, Kaal Sarp, Mangal and Shani shanti; shraddh, tarpan and the last rites; shop, office, vehicle and yantra puja; and kundli, kundli milan and shubh muhurat. Open All Pujas to see each one and what it includes.

02How do I book?

Open the puja, tap ADD, then Book now. On the Schedule tab, pick a date and time (or ask pandit ji to suggest a muhurat), give the venue and its address, choose who arranges the samagri, add the yajman's name and gotra if you like, and confirm. Our team assigns a learned pandit ji and confirms the details with you. Or use the Choose Pandit ji tab to pick a pandit ji yourself.

03What does a booking include?

Pandit ji comes to your venue and performs the puja by Vedic vidhi, with the sankalp in the yajman's name and gotra. Each puja's page lists what it includes — for example Ganesh pujan, kalash sthapana, the path or jaap, havan and aarti. Before the puja, our team confirms the details, the samagri and the dakshina with you.

04Who brings the samagri?

You choose when you book: "Pandit ji to bring samagri", "We will arrange samagri" or "Discuss on call". If pandit ji brings it, its cost is told to you with the dakshina. If you arrange it, the samagri list is shared with you before the puja.

05How is the dakshina decided?

Where a puja shows an amount, that is the dakshina. Where it says "Dakshina on confirmation", our team confirms it for your puja — depending on the vidhi, its length, the number of pandits and the samagri — before the booking is confirmed. Nothing is paid in advance.

06When and how do I pay?

After the puja — the dakshina confirmed with you. Our team tells you the ways you can pay, usually cash or UPI. Never pay anybody who asks for an advance on a call in our name.

07Can pandit ji suggest the muhurat?

Yes. When you book, tick "I need a shubh muhurat — pandit ji will suggest the time". The time you pick is then your preference; pandit ji suggests the muhurat from the panchang and our team confirms it with you. For a muhurat on its own (a wedding, griha pravesh, mundan, a new vehicle or venture), book Shubh Muhurat under Jyotish & Muhurat.

08Can I choose my pandit ji?

Yes — on the Choose Pandit ji tab you see the pandit ji profiles listed for that puja, and you can send a request to the one you prefer; our team confirms it. If no profile is listed for a puja yet, use Schedule and our team assigns a learned pandit ji.

09In which language is the puja performed?

The mantras are in Sanskrit, as the vidhi requires; pandit ji usually explains the steps in Hindi. If you would like the explanation in English or another language, say so in the note when you book — our team tells you if a pandit ji who speaks it is available.

10Does pandit ji come to my city?

Pandit ji comes to your home, flat, temple, office, shop, wedding venue or ghat. Availability depends on the city and the date — call or WhatsApp us to confirm before you book, or book online and our team confirms it with you.

11Can I book for a family member or in another city?

Yes. Give the address of the venue where the puja will be performed, and the yajman's name and gotra for the sankalp. Add their phone number in the note if pandit ji should call them on the day.

12Can I book months ahead — for a wedding or a katha?

Yes. Use "Pick a later date" when you book, or call us. For a wedding, a Bhagwat katha or an Akhand Ramayan path, booking early helps us keep pandit ji's time for you.

13How long does a puja take?

It depends on the puja: a Satyanarayan katha or a griha pravesh takes a few hours, an Akhand Ramayan path about 24 hours, and a Shrimad Bhagwat katha seven days. Our team tells you the expected time when the booking is confirmed.

14What should I keep ready?

A clean place for the puja, the samagri if you are arranging it, the names and gotra for the sankalp, and the yajman and family present at the agreed time.

15Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes. Cancel free from My Bookings while the booking is waiting for confirmation. After it is confirmed, call or WhatsApp us to cancel or change the date — as early as you can.

16I am a pandit ji — can I join?

Yes. Pandits, purohits, acharyas, kathavachaks and jyotishacharyas can register on the Join as Pandit ji page. Our team reviews every profile before it goes live.

A question before you book?

Ask us about the puja, the muhurat, the samagri or the dakshina — a person answers, and nothing is charged for asking.
